For over a decade I have been helping organizations increase diversity and achieve real culture change towards greater inclusion. I help professionals, educators and organizations meet the intercultural demands of a rapidly diversifying workplace, community or classroom. I deliver non-threatening, yet powerful, training. And I inspire and inform audiences.

I specialize in disrupting implicit bias, cultural bias and systems bias, through a depth of experience in employment equity, diversity and inclusion, and intercultural understanding to bring about meaningful solutions and lasting systemic change.

I have extensive experience in leading the consultative development, facilitating community engagement and coordinating the system-wide implementation of diversity and intercultural strategic plans. Working top-down, bottom-up, or unravelling the maze of the middle, I have delivered results in some of the most complex and bureaucratic organizations in Canada.

My promise is to deliver interactive engagements that are inspirational, applicable, practical and immediate. I believe professional development can be more than workshops. Real impact around diversity, inclusion and intercultural understanding requires a "lifestyle change" that is supported by an investment in people and practical resources.

Alden Habacon was an amazing facilitator at the Coquitlam 125 Dish & Dialogues. The combination of his personable connection with others and his gift of orchestrating the events was critical to the Dish & Dialogues’ success. We are so grateful for his services!
